About The Position

This position will manage a team of 3 Kroger Customer Category Managers and will be actively involved in advising Kroger on category and shopper-centric opportunities to drive sales volume, distribution, and enhance customer relations. The role requires providing managerial expertise, project leadership, and actionable insights that contribute to category and brand growth, while also leading Tyson's engagement with local Kroger data organizations.

Requirements

• BA degree in a related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7 plus years of experience in Category Management, Sales, and/or Consumer Insights.
• Food industry and Kroger experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and out-of-the-box thinking.
• Strong strategic customer experience and storytelling abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and work with a sense of urgency.
• Experience in Packaged and Fresh category management.
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage diverse skill sets.
• Advanced analytics and insights capabilities utilizing retailer data sources.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 3 Kroger Customer Category Managers.
• Advise Kroger on category and shopper-centric opportunities to drive sales volume and distribution.
• Provide managerial expertise and project leadership.
• Develop actionable insights and recommendations for category and brand growth.
• Lead engagement with local Kroger data organizations such as 84.51 and Circana.
• Identify and quantify opportunities for macro-space assortment and aisle optimization.
• Participate in Top-to-Tops, Category Business Plans, and Customer Category Reviews.
• Provide management skills assessment and on-the-job development to direct reports.
