About The Position

As a Sr. Carrier Sales Representative I, you are a key contributor to Uber Freight's business by generating and maintaining carrier relationships. You will be eligible to earn a monthly bonus, in addition to your base salary, in your first full calendar month and enjoy working in a fast-paced, sales environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
• 2-4 years of experience in carrier sales, logistics, or a related field.
• Track record of growing carrier/sales relationships in a fast-paced environment.
• Negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years of brokerage experience and/or related experience in transportation
• Bilingual/Multilingual skills are highly sought

Responsibilities

• Establish relationships, negotiate, and develop carriers regularly via phone and email in order to develop core and dedicated carriers
• Ensure customer satisfaction and high service levels where freight is picked up and delivered on time using safe, reliable carriers
• Meet or exceed team financial and individual performance goals
• Develop knowledge of carrier supply and demand, spot market pricing, and factors that impact freight markets
• Carrier profile management- learn carrier requirements, needs, contacts and update carrier profiles regularly. Be an advocate for the carrier on all levels
• Acquire knowledge of freight network/lanes- know what internal freight lanes we run and find carriers that match these lanes
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with executive leadership at your carrier partners. Present performance metrics, discuss growth opportunities, and address any challenges or concerns.
