Summary of Responsibilities: Power progress through smart sourcing. As a Buyer, you’ll own assigned spend categories end-to-end—finding the right suppliers, negotiating agreements, and ensuring the goods and services ATC relies on are delivered with the right quality, performance, and value. You’ll apply strategic sourcing and total life-cycle cost thinking while driving measurable savings, efficiency, and risk reduction. Essential Responsibilities: What you’ll do Own assigned spend categories from need identification through agreement termination and transition, including contract negotiation and compliance. Develop and manage supplier agreements and execute bid/buy purchases for essential goods and services. Translate ATC specifications into clear supplier expectations and ensure requirements are met. Monitor market trends, assess impacts, and recommend risk mitigation strategies. Partner cross-functionally on strategic sourcing and continuous improvement initiatives. Manage supplier relationships, performance metrics, SLAs, and assessments. Create and maintain purchase orders and change orders in ATC systems. What you bring Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline (advanced degree preferred). 3+ years of experience as a Buyer. Strong negotiation, supplier management, and contract management skills. Process improvement experience with strong financial and market analysis capabilities. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a services or non-manufacturing, project-driven environment. Base pay is one component of our comprehensive total rewards package which includes an annual incentive bonus, employer-sponsored pension plan, 401(k) match, HSA contribution, life & disability insurance, health care benefits, generous time off plans, flexible work arrangements, and much more. The pay range is a general guideline. Employment offers are evaluated individually and consider qualifications, experience, academic achievements, internal equity, and business needs.
