The Business Systems Analyst, Sr. is responsible for the analysis, build, testing, implementation, and support activities for their designated applications. They are responsible for ensuring the application workflows and build furthers the enterprise's goal of excellent patient care and supports the ProHealth quality initiatives. They work with other Analysts to develop a standardized, automated, and organized method to meet business objectives. They work with application champions for issue identification and management, coordinate validation sessions with Subject Matter Experts (SME's), and work with the Center for Learning and Innovation department in development of the training materials and environments. The Senior Analyst will ensure support for the vendor application and serve as a bridge between end users and the software vendor staff. The Senior Analyst manages small projects from conception through to implementation. Must be flexible to provide 24/7 on-call support.

Requirements

  • Bachelors/Associates Degree
  • 6+ years of technical experience
  • 6+ years of leadership experience
  • Driver's License and access to a reliable transportation

Responsibilities

  • Function as primary support & contact for applications including regular communication/interaction with clients, vendors, peers and team members, and serve as a bridge between end users and vendors
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of non-clinical applications including design, build, test, and maintenance
  • Perform in-depth requirements gathering to understand business processes and needs, analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with software
  • Assist with system troubleshooting, implementations, and software updates
  • Participate in system testing and validation including unit, functional, workflow, and integrated tests
  • Coordinate tasks departmental/interdepartmentally to support non-clinical applications
  • Work in a multidisciplinary environment to help maintain a stable and functional software application
  • Develop, follow, and keep updated documentation on support of the system
  • Maintain education and cross-training on all departmental areas of expertise
