About The Position

The Business Systems Analyst I performs systems analysis assignments with varying degrees of supervision. The Business Systems Analyst also provides complex technical business support to clients that utilize small/midsize/enterprise level systems. The role involves communicating with programmers to ensure understanding of business processes and requirements of the users, working with programmers to ensure that the delivered system matches the specified features and functions, and participating in the assessment of available technologies recommending innovative and cost-effective solutions. The analyst will map current business processes to new systems and participate in the transition to the new solution, determine interface requirements for effective system transition, develop detailed specification documents that include features and functions of the new system, develop test plans and test case scenarios to guarantee the new system design meets business requirements, and implement assigned new system installations, upgrades, and conversions.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate.
  • 5+ years relevant experience.
  • Advanced communications, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience in moderate scale corporate systems analysis.
  • Ability to work with systems users or potential users to develop system specifications and requirements.
  • Ability to translate user requirements into technical specifications with limited guidance.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience within a Banking / Financial Services environment.
  • 2+ years of demonstrated Consumer Banking experience.
  • 2+ years of direct Channel Experience (Store, Phone, Online, Mobile, ATM).
  • 2+ years of Agile Delivery Model (Confluence, Jira, Epics/Stories, POD Ceremonies) experience.

Responsibilities
