About The Position

The Sr Business Systems Analyst - ERP at UKG plays a crucial role in supporting and transforming the enterprise systems landscape. This position involves partnering with various business functions to analyze requirements, design solutions, and implement enhancements that deliver business value. The analyst will be responsible for requirements elicitation, user story creation, solution design, and testing, ensuring that the systems meet the needs of the organization while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of business systems analysis or professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of global ERP experience, including understanding of financial processes such as order-to-cash and procure-to-pay.
• 2+ years working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations ERP.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O capabilities and best practices.
• Experience with agile development practices and DevOps principles.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with systems like D365 F&O, FastPath, Oracle EBS, Salesforce, and others.
• Experience with foundational data, such as Accounts and Contacts.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O certification.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or a similar ITSM tool.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test automation tools.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements elicitation discussions with business stakeholders to understand current pain points and desired outcomes.
• Document and elaborate user stories or business requirements documents.
• Design new/enhanced systems solutions that are technically sound and deliver business value.
• Build, test, and implement clean, efficient, and maintainable solutions based on UKG requirements.
• Define and execute test cases, providing functional solution demonstrations and leading user testing sessions.
• Participate in design reviews to assess new cross-functional designs of new features and systems.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring high-quality service operations.
• Collaborate with technical leads and developers on functional and technical requirements.
• Manage the execution and delivery of features, ensuring project priorities and deadlines are met.
• Provide clear communication to team members and business stakeholders related to requirements and solution delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth mindset.
• Maintain the health and quality of services and incidents, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
• Stay current with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends, taking ownership of the work from requirements to maintenance of solutions.
• Document new features, enhancements, or fixes to the product and contribute to training materials.
• Advocate for the adoption of emerging technologies and industry trends.
