Sr. Business Systems Analyst (Auto Finance)- ONSITE Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Sr. Business Systems Anayst with at least 8+ years' experience. You will be working with the digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our team has a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable processes. You will work side by side with software developers, product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Requirements

  • Proficiency in Jira for backlog management, sprint tracking, and user story creation.
  • Experience with Confluence for documentation and collaboration.
  • Strong understanding of Agile Scrum methodology and its practical application.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable technical deliverables.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
  • 7+ years of experience in business analysis or systems analysis within an Agile environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in Agile (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, PMI-ACP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Facilitate requirement workshops, interviews, and brainstorming sessions to understand business goals and pain points.
  • Translate business requirements into well-structured EPICs and user stories in Jira, ensuring clarity and completeness.
  • Maintain and organize documentation in Confluence for easy access and traceability.
  • Work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and development teams to ensure alignment and prioritization of backlog items.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Continuously refine and groom the product backlog based on stakeholder feedback and evolving business needs.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to solution design discussions.
