Role Overview: The Sr. Business System Analyst – SAP PP will support Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama by providing expert guidance, maintenance, and enhancements for the SAP Production Planning module. This role requires deep functional knowledge of SAP PP processes, hands‑on experience supporting manufacturing operations, and the ability to analyze user requirements to deliver best‑practice solutions. The consultant will partner with cross‑functional teams, lead enhancements, support technical development, and drive continuous improvement within production planning workflows. Bilingual communication with Korea’s GOC (Korean–English) is preferred.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of hands‑on SAP Production Planning (PP) configuration and development experience.
  • Minimum 3 full lifecycle SAP PP implementation project experiences.
  • Technical expertise in SAP PP design, configuration, testing, and debugging, including strong ABAP program analysis skills.
  • Working knowledge of SAP interfaces and the ability to understand ABAP logic to support troubleshooting.
  • Hands‑on experience with Demand Management, SAP MRP, SAP PP/BOM configuration, and Production Execution with Backflush.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work both independently and in team environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in the automotive manufacturing industry.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English for communication with the Global ERP Team.
  • SAP PP certification or relevant SAP credentials.
  • Experience translating evolving business needs into scalable SAP PP solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide end‑to-end support for the SAP PP module, including issue resolution, system maintenance, and 2nd‑level technical support.
  • Lead small projects and major enhancements within SAP PP, ensuring high‑quality functional solutions and alignment with business requirements.
  • Oversee SAP custom development activities, including reviewing functional specifications and coordinating with technical teams.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional departments to complete development tasks, support complex ERP issues, and guide proper system configuration.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to optimize production planning processes, improve operational workflows, and support business objectives.
  • Create and maintain training materials, functional documentation, and user guides; deliver training to end users as needed.
  • Support month‑end closing activities for the PP area and provide backup assistance to other module consultants when required.
