About The Position

The Business Operations Specialist, Senior will have a focus on a variety of cross-functional, value-added services including supporting strategic initiatives and continuous improvement to optimize the ERC coworker and customer experiences. The incumbent may own ongoing process management or administration and support department and/or line of business system needs. They will also provide business analytics information, including research, data analysis, metric implementation, forecasting, and reporting in support of business decision making, strategy and operations. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business needs or company requirements. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory and will be agreed upon by the successful candidate and hiring leader.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of related experience or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Support organization as a subject matter expert by providing information and direction to resources through various delivery channels
  • Participate in the development and execution of key department initiatives
  • Research and data analysis; compile and prepare reports for upper management
  • Develop internal work processes and initiate process improvements, including identifying opportunities for productivity and effectiveness
  • Solve unique process problems, anticipating issues and developing innovative process solutions
  • Influence decisions, providing recommendations for change that will lead to the success of company goals and cost effectiveness
  • Utilize system and personnel resources to successfully address inquiries from internal business partners
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of department and/or line of business function and responsibilities
  • Support additional tasks and initiatives as assigned
