About The Position

The Sr. Business Operations Manager - IT at Constellation is responsible for strategically aligning the operations of the IT department with the organization's overall strategy and business objectives. This role involves developing and executing a strategic technology plan, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring that IT initiatives support the business's goals, particularly in driving Total Shareholder Return (TSR). The position serves as a crucial liaison between IT and other departments, promoting process improvement and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering).
  • Typically 10 or more years of experience in leading and managing multiple solutions teams at the manager level or higher.
  • Experience and deep knowledge of business processes.
  • Experience working on consulting engagements with senior executives to drive business transformation and strategy through IT.
  • Demonstrated strategy planning and customer engagement skills.
  • Excellent consultative skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
  • Advanced interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Graduate degree in Information Systems or related discipline or MBA.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a pivotal bridge between IT and the broader business, ensuring technology solutions align with strategic goals.
  • Champion the prioritization of IT initiatives to maximize impact and deliver value.
  • Develop and manage organizational change management strategy including execution oversight.
  • Assist teams in development, tracking, and accountability of OKRs.
  • Partner with vendor management, budgeting, and regulatory compliance to ensure smooth IT operations.
  • Maintain relationships with business clients to understand processes and requirements, participating in committees that drive investment and technology strategy.
  • Serve as a liaison between IT and other departments to ensure IT initiatives contribute positively to overall success.
  • Support process improvement and adoption of standard Management Model processes and procedures.
  • Evaluate performance and provide coaching for IT personnel, promoting diversity and teamwork.
