The Senior Business Manger role leads the business from a broad general manager point of view and owns business results. The Manager is responsible for translating RbA’s business strategy into a product strategy by having intimate knowledge of the customer. Development of strategic and annual operating plans for their business to deliver Division and Enterprise results, including demand and market segment share goals. Working closely with delivery partners (sales, marketing, RD&I, operations, finance, and IT) throughout the Division and Enterprise to deliver those plans. Ensuring long-term capacity exists for those plans. The Manager leads the business day-to-day by producing sound plans, spotting problems and opportunities early, and responding urgently to them.

Requirements

  • Four-year degree or equivalent of experience and education
  • Minimum of six years of experience in marketing, sales, or product management roles
  • Strong working knowledge of business measures, revenue, costs, and margins
  • Proven experience with identifying opportunities, creating then implementing a plan to create business results from opportunity.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop a detailed understanding of customer needs, purchase trigger, behaviors and influences when considering replacement products.
  • Collaborate with delivery partners to deliver roadmap initiatives.
  • Working to ensure long-term capacity for both product output and consistent component supply.
  • Understanding market segment share to determine long-term growth
  • Manage product profitability and commercial success, own the business case
  • Develop and own product roadmap
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to deliver relevant product marketing assets
  • Monitor competitive product and positioning to maintain competitive advantage
  • Recruit, onboard and lead a high performing team
