About The Position

This is your opportunity to join Capital One's fast-growing consumer app: Capital One Shopping. Within Capital One, the Shopping team is working on a new consumer product that seeks to change the way people buy things online. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in any quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering).
  • At least 2 years of experience in quantitative analysis.
  • At least 2 years of experience in qualitative analysis.
  • At least 1 year of experience in people management.
  • At least 1 year of experience in project management.
  • At least 2 years of SQL experience or other relational data manipulation or analysis experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in quantitative analysis.
  • 5+ years of experience in qualitative analysis.
  • 2+ years of experience in product development.
  • 2+ years of experience in financial modeling.
  • 2+ years of experience in economic forecasting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop business strategies that will drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for Capital One.
  • Manage and develop 1-2 analysts, coaching and mentoring associates.
  • Develop and implement new product and pricing strategies for various lending products.
  • Lead direct-to-consumer marketing efforts for select products.
  • Drive improvements in credit performance by creating risk models and testing hypotheses.
  • Manage and sequence delivery of business intent, build business requirements, and execute against the product strategy.
  • Work closely with colleagues across Capital One including IT, Sales, Operations, and Finance.
