  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field with at least 10 years of relevant experience
  • Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • Deep understanding of Business Intelligence / Data Warehousing concepts
  • Advanced experience with reporting tools (Power BI)
  • Solid SQL skills and the ability to write complex, highly-optimized queries
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
  • Significant experience with Business Intelligence tools (one or more of the following: Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, qlikview, TIBCO Spotfire, SAP Business Objects, SAP Crystal Reports)
  • Advanced Power BI Skills: Data Model design: familiarity with OLAP and Tabular model design principles
  • Languages: Advanced DAX, Power Query (M)
  • Dashboard development, Workspace management, role-level security control
  • Skills in other MS SQL Server technologies – SSIS, SSAS, Stored Procedures
  • Knowledge of Python, Scala, PySpark, R or other languages is a plus
  • Data profiling skills
  • Knowledge of multiple development methodologies, preferably Agile
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
