The Data Insights team is an integral part of our Commercial Insights & Decision Science team, providing strategic insights to our business partners to accelerate decision-making and improve business outcomes. The Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for acquiring, managing, manipulating and analyzing data to identify trends and patterns, and translate findings into clear, actionable insights. The analyst will design, define and create extracts and reports that will be utilized by internal partners. They will work closely with those stakeholders to clearly understand project requirements on the front end and provide appropriate data interpretation on the back end. Critical to this role are in depth understanding of Enterprise-wide reporting utilizing SQL, as well as advanced Excel and modelling skills. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to communicate ideas and opportunities to stakeholders. Let's talk about Responsibilities Partner with internal stakeholders to clarify requirements, define success metrics, and deliver scalable BI solutions Write and maintain advanced SQL to transform and analyze data across multiple sources Identify data issues and apply corrective actions during analysis and validation to ensure data quality and accuracy Interpret data results and communicate insights in clear, non-technical language to support business decisions Partner with internal teams and customers to review data and provide recommendations on business opportunities and improvements Develop graphs, reports, and presentations of project results Create and maintain quality dashboards and recurring/ad hoc reporting to support ongoing performance tracking Perform basic statistical analyses to support reporting and insight generation Be flexible to take on new data related tasks with minimum supervision. Let's talk about Qualifications and Experience Must have a Bachelor’s degree in IT, finance, statistics, computer science or a related field required 5+ years of business analytics experience, ideally supporting a sales and/or marketing organization Must have demonstrated experience utilizing SQL server to provide advanced analytics Must be able to write complex SQL (multi-table joins; select/update/delete/insert statements) Experience with BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Sisense, etc.) and Advanced Excel and modelling skills required Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner Healthcare experience strongly preferred A clear communicator able to make well-reasoned recommendations to all levels of the organization, from peers to executive leadership Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence in order to achieve results Able to balance multiple high-priority deliverables Ability to work in a continually changing, customer-focused environment and to be simultaneously accountable to multiple peer team members Excellent time management and organizational skills We are shaping the future at ResMed, and we recognize the need to build on and broaden our existing skills and continue to attract and retain the world’s best talent.
