About The Position

The Senior Business Analyst will support a leading health insurance customer in Washington DC, focusing on Conversational AI analysis, research, documentation, and use case development. This role is crucial for identifying and documenting business needs related to process and system changes, ensuring that business objectives are met through effective requirements gathering and analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
  • 5 years progressive experience in business analysis, systems analysis, testing or other analytical experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality, effective deliverables on-time and be a significant contributor to the development of cost-effective solutions.
  • Proven understanding of business analysis core competencies.
  • Extensive experience in business analysis, specifically within the realm of conversational AI.
  • Strong research skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear and actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in creating detailed documentation and Use Cases.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies, natural language processing (NLP).
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies.

Nice To Haves

  • In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of conversational AI systems and technologies to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Perform comprehensive research to stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and best practices in conversational AI.
  • Develop detailed documentation, including requirements, specifications, and user guides, to support the development and implementation of conversational AI solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers, to define and develop Use Cases for conversational AI applications.
  • Analyze user interactions and feedback to refine and optimize conversational AI systems.
  • Create and maintain project plans, timelines, and status reports to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to drive strategic decision-making.
