What We’re Looking For: Our Sales Division is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Senior Business Analyst who thrives in both leadership and hands-on execution. This role serves as a critical partner to Sales and Marketing leadership, driving pricing strategy, revenue insights, and performance analytics that directly impact growth. You will lead a small team while personally delivering high-quality analysis, dashboards, and executive reporting that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. If you enjoy turning complex data into actionable strategy while mentoring others to excel, this role offers strong visibility and measurable impact.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis or data analytics, including 1–2 years in a leadership or mentorship capacity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong experience with SQL and Power BI (or similar BI tools).
  • Proven experience presenting insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing pricing analysis, sales performance reporting, or revenue modeling initiatives.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in healthcare, legal, or records retrieval industries.
  • Familiarity with pricing models, promotional analysis, and sales operations strategy.
  • Experience with Salesforce, ZoomInfo, HubSpot, Tableau, or similar CRM and BI platforms.
  • Advanced experience developing executive dashboards and performance reporting frameworks.
  • Proven success leading or mentoring analysts within a high-growth sales organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor two Business Analysts, providing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development.
  • Prioritize and delegate team projects aligned with Sales and Marketing strategic objectives.
  • Conduct complex data analysis to identify trends in sales performance, pricing effectiveness, order volume, and customer behavior.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing leadership to define KPIs and develop actionable dashboards using SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and Excel.
  • Review and refine pricing strategies across business units to ensure consistency, competitiveness, and revenue optimization.
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level reports, forecasts, and performance presentations.
  • Oversee development of pricing proposals, revenue models, RFP responses, and security assessments.
  • Project manage contract redlines and coordinate between Legal, Sales, and other business units.
  • Review and enhance current reporting frameworks; develop new dashboards and reporting solutions as needed.
  • Serve as the escalation point for pricing discrepancies and reporting gaps.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing leaders to review performance metrics and identify growth opportunities.
  • Guide your team on reporting priorities while ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliverables.
  • Build or refine SQL queries and dashboards to support real-time business decisions.
  • Review pricing proposals or contract terms to ensure alignment with revenue strategy.
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
