  • Serves as the primary business analyst on the largest enterprise projects.
  • Works directly with clients at all levels within and outside the organization to identify business solutions and related requirements.
  • Documents and stores requirements according to department standards.
  • Provides consultation services to all areas of GEHA as needed.
  • Serves as a mentor to other business analysts through both formal and informal activities.
  • Coordinates assignments of other business analysts while ensuring a cohesive approach to the project.
  • Demonstrates mastery of their area of expertise and maintains knowledge of the issues and initiatives of the Business Analysis team.
  • Serves as a champion of departmental standards for documentation.
  • Provides mentorship regarding best practices for the business analysis discipline.
  • Leads other Business Analysts and cross-functional teams on various projects.
  • Maintains knowledge of industry trends and best practices to recommend optimal solutions.
  • Acts as primary contact with project managers to provide updates and coordinate efforts.
  • Functions as liaison between business units, technology teams, and support teams.
  • Documents current-state processes and supports current applications.
  • Communicates and collaborates with external and internal customers to analyze business needs.
  • Defines technology needs through business cases and other appropriate methods.
  • Maintains a calm and composed demeanor and brings disparate viewpoints to a common understanding.
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field.
  • Requires six plus years of relevant work experience with demonstrated business analysis expertise.
  • Must have background and experience with the Business Analysis toolkit including an understanding of systems development lifecycles, architecture and frameworks, problem solving and root cause analysis methods, use cases, data and process modeling skills, and the ability to document business process models.
