About The Position

Quantech is seeking a qualified Business Intelligence and Data Analytics professional with experience in DoD to provide SSC AtlasX critical thinking and analysis in a dynamic, high-paced environment that responds to SSC senior leadership and supports a broad range of technical and administrative activities that enable and contribute to effective management of the SSC space enterprise. Organization is responsible for highly classified Space Domain Awareness (SDA) systems, Defensive and Offensive Space Control (DSC/OSC) capabilities, and space test range assets, all crucial for meeting current and projected DoD operational requirements. This dynamic environment requires a professional with a strong understanding of ground, near-space, space, and related operating systems.

Requirements

  • BA/BS Required
  • 3+ years of specific and demonstrable experience working with DoD programs and organization, specifically in SSC Space Acquisition (preferred).
  • Experience in DAF Data Fabric analytics platforms (e.g. Envision, VAULT, BLADE, ADVANA) required.
  • Expertise in COTS Business Intelligence software (e.g. Palantir Foundry, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense).
  • Expertise in SharePoint development and web technologies, Microsoft 365 suite (e.g. Power Automate, Power Apps, Forms, Lists).
  • Knowledge of database languages and data transformation packages (e.g. SQL, PySpark, Pandas, R).
  • Familiarity with SSC authoritative business data systems (PMRT, CCaR, CRIS, FPDS, MilPDS, DCPDS, REMIS, LISN).
  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence (e.g. Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering) highly preferred.
  • Clearance: Secret

Responsibilities

  • Interface with data governance organizations and support as needed in the development or distribution of policies and governance related to data operations or the use of Artificial Intelligence.
  • Advocate for SSC personnel and promote organizational decisions that enable an innovative workforce and the use of emergent technologies.
  • Perform tasks in support of data mining activities using a variety of techniques, to include anomaly detection, focusing on unusual data errors that may require additional validations.
  • Perform data mining tasks to support dependency modeling, data clustering, classification, regression, and summarization.
  • Perform tasks in support of data operations activities such as data extractions, data transformations, and data integration into various systems.
  • Use appropriate data and business analytic frameworks for conceptualizing and actualizing work products and processes.
  • Develop complex statistical analytical models to perform descriptive, diagnostics, predictive, and prescriptive analytics focused on improving data-driven decision making and reducing overall risk exposure.
  • Develop and deliver specialized analytical models focused on continuous monitoring to support various organizational clients, internal controls of high-risk programs, key performance indicators (KPIs), and performance metrics.
  • Support change management activities including the development and delivery of training for key stakeholders, strategic communication, and related organizational support of analytic activities.
  • Build, test, and sustain interactive dashboards on a routine basis and support the retirement of analytic products that become obsolete.
  • Prepare and present findings and scientific or analytical reports and studies and translate disparate data into meaningful information.
