The E-commerce Sr. Analyst plays a crucial role in the success of Carnival Cruise Line by leveraging technical expertise and a strong professional presence to support the E-commerce & Guest Technology team. This position is pivotal in fostering a data-driven culture within the team, providing essential reporting and insights that guide resource allocation and business decisions. The analyst will support various channels by evaluating marketing campaigns, product launches, and development releases, with a keen focus on their impacts on web traffic, conversion rates, and revenue generation. Continuous analysis of business trends, processes, and opportunities will be conducted using statistical information and insights derived from machine learning and operational reviews. Key responsibilities include the development, automation, and maintenance of cross-channel real-time dashboards using tools like Tableau and Google Analytics, as well as generating statistical reports that assist marketers in identifying outliers and prioritizing actions for both business and technical audiences. The analyst will analyze complex data sets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights, particularly utilizing GA4 to assess online behavior metrics such as impressions, clicks, conversions, page views, and time spent on site. A/B testing scenarios will be conducted, and statistical analysis reporting processes will be managed to optimize email and lead nurturing strategies. The role also involves developing best practices for building, testing, and deploying predictive models aimed at optimizing eDM and paid media strategies, enhancing customer journeys, and conducting customer segmentation and personalization analyses. Regular reports and visualizations will be produced to monitor the effectiveness of campaigns and models, uncover trends, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement. The analyst will also be responsible for creating repeatable and self-serve reporting mechanisms that enable in-depth performance analysis across various channels and campaigns.
