As a Business Intelligence Analyst/Business Intelligence Senior Analyst (level based upon experience) at ProcureAbility, you will be responsible for executing internal and client-facing initiatives through advanced data analytics, targeted spend analysis, and leveraging new and emerging technologies. As part of ProcureAbility’s Digital Practice, you will be working with client delivery teams and internal stakeholders to analyze diverse business problems, develop solutions, and deliver data-driven insights and visualizations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in the supply chain, analytics, or any STEM field.
  • 3+ years of experience leveraging data to support fact-based decision-making.
  • 2 years of experience utilizing BI solutions (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.).
  • Strong skillset in MS Excel.
  • Proficient in MS PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently with client teams to support deliverables.
  • Attention to detail helps in driving specificity in requirements gathering and delivery.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong exposure to data cleansing and standardization from multiple data sources.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey information at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with clear priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • A solid understanding of supply chain and procurement business, specifically data and spend categorization, is highly desirable.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases and analytical data modeling.
  • Experience designing, developing, and testing BI solutions that may include relational databases, data warehouses, ETL, reports, and dashboards.
  • Experience with any flavor of SQL, writing lookup queries, stored procedures, and creating database schemas.
  • Experience in object-oriented programming languages (Python, Java, C#).
  • Familiarity with Azure services or equivalent (AWS, GCP).

Responsibilities

  • Work with business clients and ProcureAbility staff to understand the analytical objectives for each project and secure the data necessary to achieve those objectives.
  • Design and document data extraction, preparation, and ingestion tasks and data flow.
  • Design, develop and maintain advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions using tools such as Excel, Power Query, Power BI, and Alteryx.
  • Identify and resolve data challenges with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct design reviews and participate in QA functions for our information delivery application(s).
  • Develop validation processes to ensure data accuracy across various dashboards and reports.
  • Identify and provide recommendations for areas of automation, optimization, and growth.
  • Support specific product roadmap development activities as assigned.
