POSITION SUMMARY: The Sr Benefits Analyst will work closely with the Director of Total Rewards to assist with the oversight of company-sponsored employee benefit programs. The primary duties will include assisting employees with their benefits, partnering with vendors and consultants, evaluating and recommending plan improvements and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The position will support the administration, operations, design, strategy, communications, compliance and project management of all benefit plans and programs.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree or related work experience
  • Minimum of five years of relevant benefits analyst experience
  • Highly knowledgeable with all aspects of employee benefits programs
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently with minimal direction
  • Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills

Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day operations of company benefit plans to include Health & Welfare, Retirement, Leave of Absence, Equity and Compensation programs.
  • Provide comprehensive support and assistance to employees and HR regarding benefit plan inquiries, claims, and escalated issues.
  • Conduct benefits orientations and assist employees with the benefits enrollment process.
  • Manage monthly billing and invoicing of benefit premiums.
  • Report on and evaluate benefits data to make recommendations for plan improvements or changes.
  • Assists with the development and implementation of new/enhanced benefit plans and programs.
  • Actively contributes to the development and delivery of benefit-related communication materials.
  • Basic understanding of how HRIS, Payroll and Benefit Administration systems work together.
  • Work closely with HRIS and vendors to ensure data integrity across all systems.
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure that the company’s processes are compliant.
  • Assist with plan compliance with federal, state and local legal regulations.
  • Support the annual H&W Open Enrollment activities.
