About the Position: Tulsa Center for Behavioral Health is recruiting for a Behavioral Health Case Manager – Social Work Dept. This position provides professional case management and intake services to assist clients receiving treatment through advocacy, referral assistance, and by preparing individual care plans based on recovery goals and strategies.

Requirements

  • Level III - Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of a minimum of 36 (thirty-six) months of direct, documented experience working with persons with mental illness and/or substance use disorder and possess a High School Diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED), or High School equivalency (HSE) Credential and two (2) years of professional experience.
  • OR The completion of 60 (sixty) college credit hours and a minimum of 12 (twelve) months of direct, documented experience working with persons with mental illness and/or substance use disorder and two (2) years of professional experience.
  • OR A bachelor’s or master’s degree in any field from a regionally accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education (USDE) and have a minimum of six (6) months of direct, documented experience working with persons with mental illness and/or substance use disorder and two (2) years of professional experience.
  • OR A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a behavioral health related field earned from a regionally accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education (USDE) and two (2) years of professional experience.
  • OR have a current license as a registered nurse in the State of Oklahoma with documented experience in behavioral health care and two (2) years of professional experience.

  • Level I- Education and Experience requirements at this level consists of a High School Diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED), or High School Equivalency (HSE) Credential and six (6) months of behavioral health experience.
  • Applicant must be able to pass an OSBI background check.
  • Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license.
  • Certification as a Certified Behavioral Case Manager will be completed within 30 days of start date with the agency, contingent to training availability.
  • Incumbents must function in accordance with the Joint Commission, Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and all other applicable rules, laws, and authorities.
  • Incumbents will adhere to the Professional Standards for Certified Behavioral Heath Case Manage (OAC 450:50-7 Rules of Professional Conduct).
