About The Position

Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of low Earth orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. The mission of Kuiper Government Solutions (KGS) is to leverage Amazon’s Kuiper satellite communications infrastructure to provide low-latency, high-speed, secure satellite broadband services to United States and allied government customers. Kuiper Government Solutions (KGS) is seeking a Senior Business Development Planner & Analyst to drive the strategic outcomes of our U.S. Government business across Defense, National Security, Federal Civil, and State and Local sectors. In this role, you will tailor and implement sales operations processes that manage tactical-to-strategic activities and enable KGS to meet long-range growth goals. You will translate data into strategy—aligning financial, operational, and business development insights to enhance decision-making, accelerate deal velocity, and strengthen Kuiper’s position across U.S. government markets. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking, operational rigor, growth savvy, and data fluency—with a proven ability to plan, analyze, and implement frameworks that support sustainable growth.

Requirements

  • - Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or other related field
  • - 4+ years of experience in sales operations, business operations, or strategic planning.
  • - 4+ years of experience using Salesforce or equivalent CRM platform.
  • - Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with a proven ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.

Nice To Haves

  • - 5+ years of experience in sales operations, finance, or business management, ideally in the government or technology sectors.
  • - Demonstrated expertise in designing and maintaining a structured sales pipeline and lifecycle management process.
  • - Familiarity with Salesforce Einstein Analytics, Confluence, and JIRA.
  • - Clear understanding of industry business development benchmarks
  • - Understanding of government SATCOM needs and acquisition processes.
  • - Proven success developing scalable business operations frameworks that enable growth and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sales Operations & Lifecycle Management: •Develop and execute scalable sales and pipeline management strategies that align with KGS’s long-range plan (LRP) and growth objectives.
  • •Build and optimize data-driven processes to forecast, track, and evaluate pipeline performance across Defense, National Security, and Civil markets.
  • •Lead the design of integrated reporting ecosystems and dashboards that unify financial, business development, and operational insights for leadership visibility.
  • •Implement and improve process governance across Pursue/No-Pursue, Bid/No-Bid, and Propose phases to ensure consistency, velocity, and compliance.
  • •Sustain unified, consistent and accurate reporting of business growth efforts across the organization.
  • Business Planning & Intelligence: •Establish frameworks to analyze sales trends, evaluate performance metrics, and identify opportunities for operational improvement and market expansion.
  • •Align Finance, Business Development, and Operations functions around shared data sets and performance expectations.
  • •Analyze business data to assess pipeline health against benchmarks and identify opportunities for enhancements
  • •Deliver and implement strategic recommendations to leadership based on pipeline analytics, market signals, and Voice of the Customer insights.
  • Cross-Functional Enablement & Strategic Communication: •Partner with product, service, and capture teams to articulate Kuiper’s value proposition and roadmap to U.S. government customers.
  • •Transform Voice of the Customer data into actionable insights that shape KGS’s product, service, and business development strategies.
  • •Enable executive decision-making through structured communication, strategic reporting, and clear articulation of growth priorities.
