Sr. Backend Software Engineer FS IH SR, IH - DIGITAL ENGAGEMENT PLATFORM
About The Position
Works as part of a first-of-its-kind digital engineering group at Inception Health. Builds the backend systems and services that power our digital products, while shaping our engineering culture as we grow a resilient, full-stack engineering team. This role focuses on developing scalable, maintainable backend architectures using modern engineering principles such as domain-driven design, clean architecture, modular monoliths, microservices, asynchronous messaging, and robust API design. Inception Health aspires to foster a full-stack engineering culture where backend engineers help drive end-to-end experiences across the technology stack layers for our members, providers, and community. Works as part of a first-of-its-kind digital engineering group at Inception Health. Delivers greenfield products as well as shapes our engineering culture, as we build a thriving engineering team focused on delivering a data-driven and experience-focused digital service to our members, community, and providers. Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of Engineering experience of software programming, experience in a modern programming language such as JavaScript, Python, Java, C++, Golang, etc.
- Mastery of one or more technical domains and is regarded as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) among peers and mentors others.
- Efficient at decomposing requirements into engineering tasks within an issue tracker such as Jira, Trello, GitHub Issues/Project, etc.
- Proficient at debugging production issues using observability tools.
- Comfortable creating and reviewing component or system architecture designs that conform to industry best practices.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
