Essential Job Functions: Lead cloud engineering projects and initiatives with minimal oversight, identifying and taking responsibility for project success criteria. Collaborate closely with team members to implement and maintain cloud solutions. Lead troubleshooting and performance optimization of cloud services, breaking problems into fundamental parts and collaborating and following up with others for resolution. Design and implementing AWS new accounts for various onboarding customers; Utilize IaC practices to manage and provision infrastructure components like VPCs, subnets, security groups, and load balancers. Planning and implementing Network solutions for customer connections Clearly and concisely document and communicate technical findings and best practices. Lead cloud cost analysis and optimization efforts, identifying and recommending opportunities and collaborating with associated teams. Recommend opportunities to improve the design and operations of the cloud infrastructure. Coach junior team members with technical challenges and learning opportunities. Continually develop expertise in both Cloud and related technologies (devops, database, security, sdlc etc) and act as a trusted SME. Assist in the development and documentation of cloud architecture solutions and recommendations. Collaborate closely with the cloud architecture team on technical tasks, including research and analysis. Collect and analyze data to support cloud architecture decisions. Contribute to the maintenance of cloud security and compliance standards Stay updated on cloud technology advancements and share insights with the team. Provide input and support in troubleshooting technical issues within cloud infrastructure. Contribute to the creation of technical documentation and best practices. Provide regular updates on the status of cloud architecture projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e., Computer Science, Information Technology) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Typically, 4+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 3+ years in a similar role.
  • Experience in cloud architecture, IT, or a related field.
  • Expertise on AWS Core infrastructure services such as EC2, S3, RDS, DocDB, FSX, EDR, etc.
  • Expertise on AWS networking and Security services (VPC, NACL, SG, Direct Connect, Site to Site VPN, etc.).
  • Knowledge of AWS Org/Controller Tower and SCP.
  • Working experience on Infrastructure Automation via Terraform and Cloud formation.
  • Experience in AWS security management, including handling of Audit remediations.
  • Experience in AWS Cost Optimization/Finops.
  • Familiarity with major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and team collaboration.
  • Prior experience working on cross-functional teams in cloud projects.
  • Successful involvement in the implementation of cloud solutions.
  • Experience in cloud architecture project management or coordination.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing technology.
