About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Avionics Test Engineer to join our Avionics team. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience working with complex electro-mechanical systems in aerospace or a related field. We are looking for a generalist who will contribute to several roles in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• B.Sc. Engineering degree from an accredited university
• 8 or more years of relevant integration and testing experience in aerospace or similar field
• Experience with embedded system hardware and software
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with component and system-level testing
• Experience developing test benches
• Experience documenting wiring schematics
• LabVIEW and/or Python development skills
• Experience with NI Veristand a plus
• Experience with Environmental/Electrical Qualification standards such as RTCA-DO160, Mil-STD 461
• Experience with leading and mentoring Junior Engineers

Responsibilities

• Develop hardware-in-the-loop test equipment
• Troubleshoot test failures
• Support testing of Avionics systems and components across hardware and software including environmental qualification
• Write test plans and procedures
• Document design issues and work with engineering teams to resolve
• Support avionics production
• Execute system checkouts on the integrated vehicle
• Provide delegate Functional Leadership as required
