About The Position

Michael Baker International is seeking a Senior Aviation Civil Engineer/Project Manager, based in our Lakewood, Colorado office, to lead aviation infrastructure projects across Colorado and beyond! The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our aviation practice in Colorado, working closely with regional leadership to expand our impact and capabilities. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field
• 10+ years of aviation engineering experience
• PE License in Colorado required
• Strong knowledge of FAA Design Circulars and airfield geometric layout
• Experience with airfield pavements, hangars, utilities, and airport support facilities
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Lead airside and landside infrastructure projects from concept through construction
• Serve as a senior technical expert and client liaison
• Develop scopes, budgets, and schedules while ensuring quality and safety
• Drive business development and help grow our aviation footprint in the region
• Mentor junior staff and foster a culture of innovation and inclusion
