Position Specific Description NextEra Energy's Aviation Department seeks a highly skilled Sr. Aviation Maintenance Technician to provide comprehensive maintenance support for our corporate aircraft fleet. This role requires an FAA A&P License, 5+ years aviation maintenance experience (corporate/business aircraft preferred), strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment while handling confidential information. Key responsibilities include performing scheduled/unscheduled maintenance, conducting inspections and troubleshooting, applying MEL requirements, collaborating with pilots and maintenance teams, and maintaining accurate documentation. Requirements

  • High School Grad / GED
  • Experience: 5+ years
  • Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
  • FAA Airframe & Power Plant Certificate

Responsibilities

  • Plans and performs maintenance, inspections, and repairs on corporate type aircraft
  • Tracks and documents maintenance in accordance with manufacturer and Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR)
  • Maintains spare parts inventories to appropriate levels
  • Procures aircraft parts for present and future use
  • Performs flight line duties including towing aircraft, marshaling aircraft for departure/arrival and maintaining ground support equipment
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
