We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to lead the integration and commissioning of advanced automation machinery in our dental device manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain control systems, ensuring seamless machine integration and process automation while adhering to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

  • Lead the integration and commissioning of automation machinery from international vendors.
  • Design, implement, and maintain control systems including PLCs and HMIs for dental device manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless machine integration and process automation.
  • Develop and document automation protocols and standard operating procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues to minimize downtime and ensure product quality.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through automation and process optimization.
  • Manage qualification and validation of new automated equipment and systems.
  • Provide training and support to operations personnel on new automation systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all automation activities.
  • Monitor system performance and report on key metrics such as yield, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Automation expertise, including PLC programming and controls integration.
  • Experience in automation systems and engineering.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Hands-on experience with Rslogix and control system integration.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Materials Engineering.
  • Minimum of four years of experience in automation, manufacturing, or process engineering roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and training.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. as defined by immigration regulations.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, and statistical analysis techniques.
