About The Position

As a Sr Automation Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions to improve efficiency and productivity. You will work on various projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of automation initiatives and the delivery of high-quality solutions. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Geneva, OH location on a on-site work schedule. In this role, you will impact the overall performance of our automation systems, driving improvements and innovations that contribute to the success of our engineering operations. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Controls, Mechatronics Engineering or similar engineering degree AND 8+ years of experience as an Automation engineer developing PLC programs for production plants in an industrial setting OR Associate's degree with 12 + years of automation/plc experience.
  • Strong knowledge of automation systems and control technologies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or PLC programming.
  • Experience with automation tools and technologies such as SCADA, HMI, and DCS systems.
  • Proficiency and experience with Allen Bradley platforms with a proven record of PLC process control system software development.
  • Developing and delivering custom automation systems - 8+ yrs.
  • 5+ Years' experience 2D/3D CAD programs for electrical & mechanical schematics.
