About The Position

Provides legal assessments, interpretations, recommendations, and representation to the company on various procurement related contracts. Acts as the company’s primary attorney responsible for assisting business units in drafting and negotiating procurement related contracts. Advises and represents the company in contract disputes. Assists the business units in administering contracts to ensure contractual rights and obligations are properly fulfilled. Reviews and recommends application of corporate policies to protect the company’s interests and objectives. May assist with other contractual and commercial matters with which the company is involved, including but not limited to real estate transactions, power purchase or sale arrangements, transmission service arrangements, construction agreements and other agreements typically encountered in the energy industry.
