The Strategy & Consulting (S&C) team is an internal Pfizer team that works with Pfizer senior leadership to lead the development of holistic business strategies, across Corporate, Commercial and R&D. Responsibilities

  • Support key strategic projects, ensuring they are aligned with the company’s long-term goals and delivered on time.
  • Conduct in-depth research to identify market trends, diagnose internal processes, and evaluate potential risks, providing actionable insights to inform enterprise decisions.
  • Engage with senior executives and cross-functional teams to develop and communicate strategic recommendations and drive alignment.
  • Maintain a collaborative spirit, build personal awareness and model a continuous growth mindset.
  • Interact with BU leaders and/or corporate functions to understand their business needs.
  • Support modules in a portfolio of projects that provide insight and direction for key strategic levers such as optimal resource allocation, market development, differentiating Pfizer products, improving access for patients, and digital enablement.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of market dynamics to identify market trends and appropriately assess opportunities and guide strategic direction.
  • Deep dive into external and internal sources to uncover patterns and extract novel insights to provide data-driven recommendations and effectively communicate complex information to stakeholders.
  • Create an engaging and productive work environment where team members are encouraged to collaborate and excel.
  • Participate in internal/external networking and thought partnership to broaden functional expertise and maintain awareness of industry trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3 years of work experience.
  • Demonstrated strong strategic thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated experience working on team-based projects with cross-functional colleagues.
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to form preliminary hypotheses from unstructured data and incomplete information.
  • Basic understanding of trends and market dynamics in US and Global healthcare and biopharmaceuticals.
  • Experience and comfort in presenting to mid- to senior-level stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated high learning agility, team player mentality, inclusive outlook, and positive attitude.
  • Strong command of English language, spoken and written.

Nice-to-haves

  • Three years of relevant healthcare-related experience.
  • Relevant healthcare experience includes experience working in/with commercial, corporate or R&D biopharma functions involving strategy development and/or strategic initiatives.
