About The Position

This role will support LinkedIn's advertising business, LinkedIn Marketing Solutions (LMS), as part of the LMS Strategic Finance team, with a focus on Corporate Finance. Sitting at the intersection of product and sales, the team plays a critical role in ensuring leadership has a clear understanding of business performance through the P&L, enabling informed strategic decision-making. The individual in this role will analyze internal and external data to drive strategic insights, with a particular emphasis on headcount planning, expense management, and revenue optimization. They will also play an active role in key financial processes, including annual planning, quarterly business reviews, and month-end close. Success in this role requires strong financial modeling skills, analytical expertise, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field AND minimum 3 years of experience in finance, finance accounting, management consulting, investment banking, or related field OR equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Operationalizes ideas and develops plans for execution with some support from more senior team members.
  • Builds collaborative relationships with other teams and seeks input and feedback to develop an understanding of their priorities and constraints.
  • Leverages insights and data to develop narratives to influence stakeholders with limited guidance.
  • Synthesizes problems and communicates point of view to support decision-making on issues related to individual work in smaller group discussions.
  • Partners with cross-functional stakeholders to support the growth of initiatives by providing a metrics-oriented perspective, with minimal supervision.
  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures to develop workstreams and operational processes.
  • Proactively identifies obstacles and works to unblock them with minimal support.
  • Supports performance management by creating, maintaining, and updating complex models and forecasts for assigned metrics.
  • Executes ad hoc analyses to prove/disprove hypotheses and address ambiguous or complex business questions, deriving actionable insights from results.
