The Sr Associate, Storage Engineer will be responsible for setting up, configuring, maintaining and upgrading back-end storage infrastructure. You will engineer to assist with the research and design of primary storage / Disaster Recovery related projects. The storage infrastructure effectively supports the ongoing business operations, revenue and strategic direction of our business.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
9+ years of experience with day-to-day L3 support for NetApp, EMC, IBM or Hitachi SAN/NAS environments
Bi-lingual English/Spanish required
Ability to design and implement storage solutions as well as configure additions and modifications to the filers as requested by product groups
Experience developing DR Strategies from a storage/replication perspective
Experience with fiber channel switches across various platforms
Experience with VMware Infrastructure - Experience with large dynamic server environments
Experience in supporting Linux and Microsoft Windows operating systems.
Experience presenting to Sr. Management and creating monthly operations reports for storage technologies.

Nice To Haves

Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.
Experience in Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

Setting up and configuration of primary and secondary storage in preparation for Data Center migrations
Configuration and Performance tuning of all storage, SAN and NAS environments
Respond to, diagnose and re-mediate issues in a dynamic environment
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and in an international team environment
Generate performance and data usage reports, manage and maintain storage growth, capacity planning
Ability to work on project teams, delivering on key project milestones, and communicating effectively with a wide variety of people
