Requirements

  • BS degree in a related scientific discipline with at least 5 years of experience OR MS degree in a related scientific discipline with at least 3 years of experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Deep understanding of biological pathways involved in inflammatory disease pathogenesis.
  • Prior experience in developing and characterizing mouse models for preclinical research.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly across teams.
  • Experience in ex vivo analysis and data interpretation related to immune cell profiling.

Responsibilities

  • Independently plan and execute assigned experiments that support non-routine research activities and project goals.
  • Apply advanced understanding of project goals and methods.
  • Select appropriate methods and techniques in performing experiments.
  • Collaborate with supervisory personnel to develop research methods.
  • Lead functional group meetings as needed; present results of work, interpret data, and draw conclusions regarding presented material and nature of work.
  • Act as a resource for other employees within the department.
  • Maintain familiarity with scientific literature and apply appropriately to research projects.
  • Use strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills to communicate objectives and results.
  • Think critically and creatively, work independently, determine appropriate resources for problem resolution, and demonstrate strong organizational and planning skills.
