The Office of Health Mart Operations department is currently seeking a flexible and detail-oriented Risk Management Analyst to work as part of the PSAO Central Pay team. This individual will provide analytical insights while working in a collaborative environment to ascertain the timely completion of a variety of tasks related to the daily central payment process. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a collective team on a variety of other subject matters within the Office of Health Mart Operations Department.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • 4-year degree in finance/business or related field or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years experience in business or business analysis or similar experience
  • Intermediate MS Excel Proficiency (v-look ups, pivot table, functions, data manipulation, etc.)
  • Intermediate SQL Query Experience
  • Must be flexible and thrive in a fast pace environment with the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Capable of prioritizing the completion of job responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Strong written and organizational skills.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in USA.

Nice To Haves

  • A knowledge of managed care from either the retail pharmacy or PBM perspective.
  • Fundamental accounting methodologies and practices experience.

Responsibilities

  • Will be responsible for processing daily ACH payments and weekly check payments to pharmacies via proprietary payment system as part of the PSAO Central Payment program. This daily process includes the execution of multiple SQL queries and requires the ability to analyze multiple data sets to identify any potential problems with reimbursements.
  • Will be responsible for managing multiple aspects of the PSAO eData program in which electronic remittance data files are delivered direct to PSAO pharmacy customers and to third party reconciliation vendors on either a daily or weekly basis. This includes the management of all eData subscription enrollments and terminations along with the execution of routine audits necessary to confirm the validity of enrollment information.
  • Will serve as the subject matter expert for all questions related to the electronic remittance data files sent as part of the PSAO eData program. These questions will be answered using a variety of tools – SQL/PLSQL, Excel – and will be posed by both internal customers and external customers.
  • Will work as a member of the Office of Health Mart Operations department and cross-train in other areas to serve as a back-up for the performance of time-sensitive duties. This includes learning how to process the 835 electronic remittance data files PSAO receives from PBM partners necessary for execution of the daily PSAO Central Payment program.
  • Will be responsible for managing projects initiated to help drive continuous improvement within the Office of Health Mart Operations Department.
