The Sr. Associate, Test/Integration Engineer will be responsible for performing subsystem pre-operational checks in accordance with applicable engineering documentation. The role involves configuring and preparing LRUs and subsystem components for single and multi-thread interface and operation, as well as accomplishing subsystem and system level Ground Test Plans. The engineer will conduct insertion loss testing of RF harness assemblies per released engineering and Technical Specifications, and will troubleshoot systems and subsystems to the component level. The position requires identifying subsystem LRU failures and taking appropriate troubleshooting actions to repair, replace, and retest when necessary. The engineer will also identify hardware, software, and firmware anomalies and recommend repair/corrective actions via several enterprise software applications. Additional responsibilities include supporting EMI/Tempest testing of various airborne subsystems, supporting software and hardware development integration activities, and conducting aircraft pre-flight activities to ensure system and subsystem flight readiness. The engineer will utilize various types of test equipment and may be required to perform in-flight duty as an observer on several airborne platforms. The role may also involve the preparation and/or review of engineering documents and advising on design changes to improve operational capability and reduce costs.
