About The Position

Community Federal Savings Bank is a full-service payments, lending and banking provider that delivers global financial services through a personal approach. CFSB is seeking an experienced Information Security Engineer with 4 to 6 years of hands-on cybersecurity or IT security engineering experience. This role supports the bank’s cybersecurity operations, security architecture, and engineering initiatives, including building and maturing the in-house SOC.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in information security, cybersecurity engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with vulnerability management and incident response.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong understanding of network security, SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint security, and cloud security.
• Working knowledge of banking regulatory requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Professional certifications (Security+, CEH, CISSP, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain security tools and solutions to protect CFSB’s environment.
• Assist in building and supporting the bank’s in-house SOC, including monitoring and alert tuning.
• Conduct vulnerability scans, assessments, and remediation activities.
• Monitor and respond to cybersecurity incidents and collaborate on investigations.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and technical standards.
• Ensure compliance with GLBA, FFIEC, NIST, PCI-DSS, and other banking regulatory frameworks.
• Support secure system architecture and work closely with IT and business teams.
• Participate in security awareness, training, and audit support activities.
