About the position

As a Sr. Associate Solutions Architect on the DoorDash Commerce Platform Strategy & Operations (S&O) team, you will play a critical role in driving growth across our various products and services. Reporting to the Solutions Architect leader, you will be a founding member of the Solutions Architect function. Your initial focus will be to utilize your growth sense and technical expertise to guide merchants through how the DoorDash Commerce Platform can fit into their business, team and tech infrastructure. You’ll do this by becoming an expert in both the DCP offering as well as enterprise restaurant tech stacks, processes, and common challenges. You will play a mix of a role as both a consultant and key contributor to the sales process. Your scope will also include playing the role of growth consultant and execution partner for enterprise restaurants after they go live on the DoorDash Commerce Platform. Our products are designed to help restaurants exponentially alter their growth trajectory and you will work alongside them to iteratively optimize their same store sales through experimentation, analysis, marketing, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Consult: Build trust with merchants and help guide them through complex decisions to re-envision their tech stack to unlock greater same store sales growth for their first party channels.
  • Operate: Dive into the lowest level of detail to ensure successful execution. You will meticulously anticipate and address potential challenges as we rapidly scale.
  • Strategize: Develop comprehensive strategies to support and scale the Enterprise Digital Ordering business, considering both immediate and long-term success.
  • Build & Own: Establish and own the infrastructure needed for massive growth in the business.
  • Collaborate: Value and build strong partnerships with our merchant partners and across DoorDash.
  • Analyze: Leverage complex datasets and qualitative inputs to generate insights and recommendations.
  • Communicate & Advocate: Represent the DoorDash brand with humility and a customer-first mindset.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience in growth, product, solutions architecture, sales engineering, product ops, strategy/biz ops, or technical GTM roles.
  • Digital product experience & strong instincts in building world class consumer experiences.
  • Strong growth sense with the ability to differentiate between signal and noise.
  • Strong communication skills to interface with senior audiences and articulate complex details.
  • High emotional intelligence (EQ) to build rapport and credibility with cross-functional partners.
  • Extreme sense of ownership and proactivity in solving ambiguous problems.
  • Detail-oriented with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and maintain calm in challenging situations.
  • Experience in building from the ground up and creating structure and process.
