The GWS Product & Strategy team is a technology driven, business focused, and human centered group that's on the forefront of creating exceptional experiences for our associates. Working with partners from across GWS, Technology, HR and others, you will help solve business problems, develop industry-leading technology solutions and drive strategic alignment with senior leaders across our organization and the enterprise.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in any quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering).
• At least 1 year of experience in analysis.
• At least 1 year of experience in SQL querying.

Nice To Haves

• Master's Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering.
• 1+ years of experience in Statistical model building.
• 1+ years of experience in market research.
• 2+ years of experience in SQL querying.
• 2+ years of experience in business analysis.
• 1+ years of experience in consulting.

Responsibilities

• Identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement and solve for them using analysis to make strategic or tactical recommendations.
• Demonstrate a proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics.
• Involve problem frameworks, develop hypotheses, test and analysis, solution development, scope operational feasibility, lead implementation efforts and develop a monitoring plan.
• Perform modeling/analytics to refine and/or develop new products for various users and environments.
• Support customer-focused research efforts to inform strategic intent for products for mass utilization across Capital One.
• Help build targeted insights to inform the design and development of new customer experiences, as well as breakthrough technology and concepts designed to deliver on new go to market strategies.
• Partner with colleagues across Capital One including IT, Sales, Operations, Finance, Vendors, and others to drive improvement in quality, volume, and service.
• Leverage written and oral communication credentials, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrate a committed focus on achieving both short and long term goals.
• Drive and execute an agenda in an uncertain and fluid environment.
