About The Position

Our growing Accounting & Banking Services (ABS) team is part of our Exclusive Family Office group that specializes in helping our high-net-worth clients with their personal and entity accounting. We are looking for a motivated senior accountant to join our team to be accountable for the preparation of financial statements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and monthly close. You'll work closely with experienced professionals, gain valuable expertise, and advance your career in a supportive and stimulating environment. Requirements

  • Someone who knows accounting and has experience with the month close process.
  • High Proficiency in Word, and Excel, experience with AgilLink/Datafaction, QuickBooks Online, and Xero preferred but not necessary
  • Must be detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • A self-starter who is accountable for their work
  • Must be a team player who will thrive in a small company environment.

  • Ability to work independently and provide follow-up with the team

  • Someone working toward the CPA or CFP
  • 2 - 4 years of professional experience in an accounting or business management environment is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage client relationships with internal teams and external clients
  • Be responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable for multiple clients
  • Handle the accounting at month-end for multiple clients:
  • Reconcile bank, brokerage, and credit card statements
  • Post monthly, quarterly, and annual journal entries
  • Prepare financial and cash flow statements
  • Prepare budgets and comparison of actual to budget reports
  • Ensure transactions are documented and supported according to compliance requirements
  • Accountable for client-vendor management, including issues and disputes
  • Manage new bank account documents
  • Answerable for filing 1099s
  • Maintain thorough client data files
  • Perform other accounting and finance duties as assigned
