About The Position

Otis is growing and we are recruiting a Service Sales Associate. This role helps achieve sales growth through three main areas of responsibility: maintaining an existing portfolio, obtaining new business, and as required selling modernization and repairs. On a typical day you will manage a portfolio of elevator units through maintaining good working relationships with existing customers, serve as primary contact for timely resolution of customer needs surrounding inquiries, develop build-on repair and modernization sales through networking, bids and tenders, develop your own sales strategy to achieve sales targets, ensuring profitability, use Otis' sales tools to effectively track opportunities, pipeline, and forecast sales results, conduct sales negotiations and close deals, ensuring payment on time, and collaborate with fellow team members, including other sales representatives and field colleagues.

Requirements

  • You have a business or technical degree or have completed training as a technician or business administrator
  • You have initial experience in the sale of technical products requiring consultation
  • You have a strong customer and service orientation, including excellent interpersonal skills
  • You are characterized by a high level of commitment and reliability, with a drive to deliver results
  • You are target focused, with the ability to work at pace in a demanding, complex, corporate organization
