About The Position

The DevOps Release Manager is responsible for overseeing the release management process, which includes creating a comprehensive release plan that outlines the scope, timeline, and dependencies. This role involves developing and maintaining the release management process, ensuring effective communication throughout the release lifecycle, and supporting training and communication as part of change management. The Release Manager will own the entire change and release lifecycle, collaborating with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure proper testing, documentation, and scheduling. Additionally, the role includes leading Go-Live activities, coordinating deployment planning, and managing business risks associated with releases.

Requirements

  • Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) Pipeline.
  • Familiarity with ADO Boards.
  • Proficiency in any scripting language or SQL.
  • Experience as a Release Train Engineer.
  • UI development skills.

Responsibilities

  • Create a comprehensive release plan outlining scope, timeline, and dependencies.
  • Develop and maintain the release management process.
  • Coordinate all aspects of the release lifecycle.
  • Support training and communication as part of change management.
  • Own the entire change and release lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams.
  • Lead and coordinate Go-Live activities.
  • Ensure proper testing, documentation, and scheduling.
  • Act as process owner for the change management process.
  • Lead the assessment and analysis of change requests.
  • Regularly communicate updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk and compliance matters.
