About The Position

KBR’s Mission Engineering Division delivers complex technical solutions and expert support to the U.S. Department of War, specializing in modeling and simulation, cyber transformation, air vehicle mission integration, and lifecycle support. This position provides support services for program management, logistics, engineering, integration and sustainment planning to the F/A-18 Program in Lexington Park, MD. Travel to Granite City, IL, Richmond, VA, St. Louis, MO, El Segundo, CA and/or Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG) in Tucson, Arizona is a possibility multiple times a year.

Requirements

  • An active SECRET clearance is required.
  • BA/BS degree or an Associate’s degree plus two (2) years additional work experience; OR four (4) years additional work experience may be substituted for a BA or BS.
  • Junior Level requires less than 3 years’ experience performing duties described in the functional description (can be concurrent with additional work experience substitution for degree).
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of Microsoft suite is required, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel.

Nice To Haves

  • General knowledge of NAVAIR policies, procedures, terminology and requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives.
  • Analyzes requirements, status, budget, and schedules.
  • Performs management, technical, or business case analyses.
  • Collects, completes, organizes, and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs.
  • Tracks program/project status and schedules.
  • Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management.
  • Responsibilities include working alongside the Government Furnished Property (GFP) manager to manage and maintain GFP and accountability of ~45,000 pieces of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) in Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) and Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (Navy-ERP).
  • Manage warehouse assets that will be moved to vendors for replenishment and upgrading.
  • Member will utilize Navy Financial Management Office (FMO) databases to track and update GFE in N-ERP.
  • DoD website: Procurement Integrated Environment (PIE), with Wide-Area-Work-Flow (WAWF), a new module within PIE will be operated to update, track, and manage GFP and GFE.
  • Member will also be responsible for gathering data for audit purposes and inventory management.
