About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. The position involves overseeing and managing multiple construction projects to ensure timely and within-budget completion. The role includes leading and mentoring project teams, fostering a culture of safety and excellence, coordinating with stakeholders to align project goals and expectations, assigning and motivating job superintendents and paving foremen for various projects, and having daily communication to monitor progress, schedule, costs, and resources. Additionally, the role requires suggesting or recommending potential cost savings measures and analyzing project performance to implement improvements for efficiency.

Requirements

  • BS in Engineering preferred.
  • 5+ years in Construction Management.
  • 5+ years experience working with NYSDOT preferred.
  • Prior supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  • Solid communications skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities
