About The Position

Are you ready to join the Un-carrier movement? This role is critical for designing and building enterprise-class business intelligence solutions that support organizational decision-making. It involves architecting, developing, and implementing technology strategies in collaboration with architecture and development teams. This role is crucial for designing scalable systems and software solutions that meet business and technical requirements on web platforms. It involves defining and maintaining architecture and technology standards for applications, middleware, and databases across in-house and third-party solutions. The role provides guidance to project teams to ensure alignment to established standards and procedures. Success is measured by the effective evaluation and recommendation of technologies that align with organizational systems and goals. The work impacts the organization by enabling consistent, efficient, and innovative technology implementations that support business objectives. The Sr Architect will establish architecture for maintaining systems, new and existing platforms and tools supporting the Device Insurance products and lifecycle. They will support premier software solutions to T-Mobile business customers both internal and external. They will also build short and long term technical architectural strategy in partnership with other technology and product partners and work very closely with other IT partner teams working on multiple projects to support line of business delivery. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 3 years of related experience (Required)
  • Acceptable areas of study include Technology (Required)
  • 4-7 years Experience with enterprise level database systems such as Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server or others, emphasis on Teradata. (Required)
  • Software Development & Information Architecture (required)
  • Process Management & Analytics (required)
  • Problem Solving (required)
  • Software Frameworks: Working with software frameworks including Spring, REST, JDBC, JMS, FTP/sFTP, and Webservices; protocols including SOAP, HTTP, and HTTPs; CI/CD integration and methodologies and version control systems including GIT, Jenkins (required)
  • Cloud Platforms and DevOps: Practical experience building, deploying, and operating applications in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and working with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code (required)
  • Programming Languages: Hands-on experience coding in at least one modern language such as Java, C#, Python, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript and familiarity with industry-standard frameworks (required)
  • Azure Databricks: Experience in Azure Databricks (required)
  • GraphQL: Experience in GraphQL development (required)
  • Microsoft SQL Server: 2008/2012 suite including SQL Server Relational Database Management System Proven T-SQL and MDX development skills, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) (required)
  • Data Security: Working with data security including compliance standards (SOX, CPNI, PCI, PII etc.) and protocols (SSL/TLS, OAuth, MTLS) (required)
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

  • Evaluate third-party products to determine suitability for integration into organizational technology solutions
  • Define and maintain software development processes to ensure consistent application architecture and technology standards
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and support team members in solution implementation
  • Stay ahead of with industry trends and protocols through continuous learning and professional engagement
  • Understand and analyze business processes related to assigned projects to align technical solutions optimally
  • Take ownership of new requests and see opportunities to improve outcomes and organizational value
  • Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
