The primary function is to provide the required WiFi applications support to marketing, design engineering and customer support for products in development and/or released by Qorvo, Inc. There will be limited IoT/smart energy support.
Lead / Support tier 1 customers during their design phases including after mass-production supports. This support may occasionally require extensive travel.
Work with internal design engineers during RFIC development by providing system level feedbacks.
Enable company's products to achieve the desired performances on the customer reference designs.
Perform detailed tunings on RF amplifiers, front-end modules (FEMs), LNAs, and switches for RF various applications.
Perform testing and debugging of product evaluation boards and customer reference design boards, making improvements as necessary and follow up with training material as needed.
Provide documentations and marketing tools necessary to bring QORVO products into the market. Conduct training presentations.
Must know all about IEEE802.11 standards.
Create and update product data sheets to include RF parameters, schematics, tunings and application information.
Participate with new standards and custom RFIC product development efforts.
Mentor, train and may indirectly manage a small team of technicians.
Proven track records with previous WiFi design projects and application works.
Profound knowledge and hands-on experiences on general RF equipment including signal generators, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes and etc.
Hands-on experiences on RF circuit/product debugging.
Experiences with RF circuit design, filter design, impedance matching, and PCB board schematic and layout tools.
Knowledge in RF systems design with direct WiFi experience is higher desired.
Knowledge in communication theory including basic signal processing and modulation theory.
Knowledge of ADS or equivalent RF simulation tools.
BSEE or BS in Electronics Engineering (or foreign equivalent) required, MSEE preferred.
