About The Position

Siemens Industry Software Inc. is seeking a Sr. Applications Engineer Consultant to serve as a subject matter expert in Computational Lithography. This role involves leveraging advanced physics-based modeling and simulation to address challenges in semiconductor manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will develop physics-based software prototypes and application solutions to solve challenges arising in computation lithography, advanced mask correction, and Design Technology Co-Optimization (DTCO). The position requires delivering technical presentations, demonstrations, and training on Calibre OPC/MPC Platforms, explaining the physics-based concepts behind these technologies to customers, and driving the adoption and successful production deployment of Calibre products in the design to mask production.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 60 months of experience in the job offered or in a Sr. Applications Engineer Consultant-related occupation.
  • Experience working in the semiconductor industry.
  • Experience with OPC/Computational-Lithography, advanced mask, or IC design tools.
  • Experience with EDA Computation lithography tools.
  • Experience working in Linux/Unix environments.
  • Programming experience with Python, tcl, or C/C++.
  • Experience with modeling and simulation for optics, electromagnetic waves, or photoresists.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical authority on leveraging advanced physics-based modeling and simulation in semiconductor manufacturing processes.
  • Develop physics-based software prototypes and application solutions to address challenges in computational lithography and advanced mask correction.
  • Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and training on Calibre OPC/MPC Platforms.
  • Explain physics-based concepts behind technologies to customers.
  • Drive the adoption and successful production deployment of Calibre products.
