The Sr. Applications Analyst supports the MEDITECH Expanse Clinical Ambulatory EMR applications as directed by the Manager of Ambulatory IT. Efforts include directing, planning, development, installation, problem resolution, maintenance, documentation, operation, and training on the Expanse Ambulatory application. Also responsible for training new Ambulatory Providers on Expanse. Coordinates and provides direction of the IS Project methodology process to end users and communicates the status to management. Performs workflow analysis and needs assessment for each project, including current process assessment and new process design. Works collaboratively with programming and technical staff team members and customers/stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

  • Works collaboratively with programming and technical staff team members and customers/stakeholders to achieve business objectives
  • Bachelor's degree in a Health Care related field, or Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • 3-5 years' experience in the healthcare environment and supporting healthcare related applications and digital solutions.
  • The position requires an understanding and appreciation for clinical information technology, its capabilities, limitations, and impact on clinical practice.
  • Strong written/oral communication abilities and analytical skills are required.
  • Must also have demonstrated the ability to effectively plan and prioritize, manage projects, and to work independently under minimum supervision.
  • Must have the ability to train/teach in a classroom setting or one on one.
  • RN preferred
  • Project management experience is preferred.
  • Experience implementing innovative projects is desired.

  • Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standard Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
  • The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on specialty if applicable.
  • Non-Exempt positions may have shift differential and/or Overtime paid, if applicable.
