About The Position

Supermicro is seeking a Sr. Application Software Engineer. The role will be responsible for delivering reliable/robust software through continuous integration, automated testing, and in-depth code reviews. This role will use advanced software engineering/programming skills to build/maintain software applications. The candidate should be detail oriented, and be willing to learn new technologies and work with multi-functional team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science preferred
• 8+ years Linux operating system and network protocol (L2 - L3) such as TCP/IP, routing mechanism preferred
• Knowledge of SDN/NFV is a plus
• Experience with network optimization such as Intel DPDK / QAT is a plus

Responsibilities

• Expand the capability of our software platforms
• Expertise in design and implementation of analytical and visualization software applications running on PC and cloud
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews and code-walkthroughs
